Bernard C. Williams, age 58 of Dayton, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017 at his home. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Rita Williams, and granddaughter, Lucky Colette McCourt. He is survived by four sons: Matt (Kristy) Williams, Pete (Becca) Williams, Ryan (Valerie) Williams, and Andrew (Leah) Williams, as well as a daughter, Molly (Jamie) McCourt, their mother, Mary (Butler) Williams, and his companion Carrie Davis. Three brothers also survive him: John, David and Timothy Williams, as well as three sisters: Dorothy Upton, Rosie O'Malley and Rita Warren. Bernie's eight grandchildren...

Bernard C. Williams, age 58 of Dayton, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017 at his home. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Rita Williams, and granddaughter, Lucky Colette McCourt. He is survived by four sons: Matt (Kristy) Williams, Pete (Becca) Williams, Ryan (Valerie) Williams, and Andrew (Leah) Williams, as well as a daughter, Molly (Jamie) McCourt, their mother, Mary (Butler) Williams, and his companion Carrie Davis. Three brothers also survive him: John, David and Timothy Williams, as well as three sisters: Dorothy Upton, Rosie O'Malley and Rita Warren. Bernie's eight grandchildren survive him: Jacob, Charlie, Tommy, Jack, James, Joey, Timothy and Shea, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was class president of the Carroll High School class of 1977 and a graduate of St. Luke Elementary School. The proprietor of Emerald Exteriors, Bernie was a member of the Milton Athletic Club, spent many years coaching for the Belmont Athletic Association, and served as a member of the St. Helen Booster Club. Visitation will be Thursday evening, October 5, 2017 from 4-8 PM at the Tobias Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. A memorial Mass will be offered at St. Helen Catholic Church, 5080 Burkhardt Rd. at 10 AM on Friday, October 6, 2017 with Fr. Satish Joseph, Celebrant. Interment will be held privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Carroll High School Scholarship fund at www.carrollhs.org.
