Bentley, Nell F., age 87, of Xenia passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at Greene Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Bentley in 2000, her son, John W. Bentley in 2003, her parents, Willard J. and Ella L. (Fraley) Woody, and three brothers, Guy, Harmon and David Woody. Bentley, Nell F., age 87, of Xenia passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at Greene Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Bentley in 2000, her son, John W. Bentley in 2003, her parents, Willard J. and Ella L. (Fraley) Woody, and three brothers, Guy, Harmon and David Woody. Nell is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Bentley, brothers, Bill and Geraldine Woody,Audley and Nancy Woody, Jack and Alice Woody, John and Elaine Woody; sisters, Bennie Lotts, Marilyn and Norman Lotts, Mary and Rev. Richard Van Tine, Nancy and William Cyzick, Linda and Rolland Kauppila; sister-in-law, Joyce Ponder; dear friend, Shirley and Ottis Shepherd; loving neighbors, Martha and Rusty Shope and family, Matt and Missy McFarland. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. She was a member of the Spring Valley United Methodist Church, Past Matron of Aldora Chapter #262, O.E.S., Past Worthy High Priestess of Dayton Shrine #13 and Past Queen of Aziza Temple, Daughters of the Nile. Nell retired from A.T.&T. after many years of service. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, from the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road with Reverend Richard Van Tine officiating. Interment will follow in Valley View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. on Monday with Eastern Star services at 7:30 p.m. The family wishes to express thier gratitude to the staff of the Legacy Rehab Center for the love and care extended to Nell. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
